Diego · AI assistant for auto parts

The customer describes the part. Diego finds the part number.

Diego is an AI assistant by JSP.Digital for auto-parts stores, distributors and importers. A customer writes in plain language, for example "front brake pads for 12345678", and Diego identifies the car from the licence plate or VIN, finds the exact OEM part number in the manufacturer's catalogue, and answers with live stock and price from the store's own system. In seconds, around the clock.

In production at an Israeli auto-parts importer since 2024 · 88% correct in an internal blind test of 64 questions · 0 invented part numbers · 50,000+ part numbers with live stock and price.

What Diego does

Part number search by description

"Oil filter", "front brake pads", "the thing that holds the headlight". Diego understands free text in Hebrew or English, mechanics' slang and spelling mistakes, and maps it to the right line on the manufacturer's drawing.

Vehicle from licence plate or VIN

An Israeli licence plate is checked against the Ministry of Transport's public vehicle registry for make, model, year and engine. A VIN identifies the car directly. When a missing detail changes the part, Diego asks one question.

Exact OEM part numbers

Answers come from the car's own manufacturer catalogue drawings, not from a guess. Diego answers only with part numbers it found, and says so when there is none.

Live stock and price

Every part number is checked against the store's ERP: how many are on hand, where, at what price, and what is on order.

Supersession and cross-reference

Manufacturers replace part numbers over the years. Diego follows the whole supersession chain and cross-brand equivalents to the number the store actually holds.

Learns from the staff

Staff see every conversation, correct an answer once, and the correction is kept. Diego hands the conversation to a person when needed.

The rest of the parts platform

Partly imports a vehicle's whole manufacturer catalogue by VIN and shows it as a 3D model, with OEM part numbers, Hebrew descriptions, stock for every part and a customs classification export. A management dashboard with 36 screens covers sales, stock, reordering, dead stock and operations. Diego, Partly and the dashboard share one database, connected to the business's existing ERP.

Frequently asked questions

What is Diego?

Diego is an AI assistant by JSP.Digital for auto-parts stores, distributors and importers. It answers customers and staff in Hebrew: it identifies the car from a licence plate or VIN, finds the exact OEM part number in the manufacturer's catalogue, and checks stock and price in the store's own system.

How do you find an auto part number from a description?

Identify the exact car (plate or VIN, including the engine), translate the description into the catalogue's term, open the manufacturer drawing that holds the part, follow the part number's supersession chain, and check stock. Diego does all of these steps automatically from one plain-language message.

Which car makes does Diego support?

Full manufacturer catalogues for Peugeot, Citroën, Opel, DS and MG, plus twin vehicles such as the Toyota ProAce through the shared PSA catalogues. A new make takes a few weeks to connect; without a catalogue Diego still answers on stock, orders and deliveries.

How accurate is Diego?

In an internal blind test of 64 part questions Diego answered 88% correctly, and none of the 64 answers contained an invented part number. A full part answer takes from a few seconds to about 30 seconds.

Does Diego connect to our ERP?

Yes. The ERPs common in the Israeli parts trade have a ready connector that already runs in production, which takes days to set up; another system takes one to three weeks. A stock file is enough to start.

Who makes Diego, and where is it used?

Diego is built by JSP.Digital, a software studio in Tel Aviv, Israel. It has run in production at an Israeli auto-parts importer since 2024.
